Once served by the British with their late afternoon tea, today there are a variety of applications for the “tea sandwich”. In our experience, we have had much success with serving at the following events:

Heirloom tomato, chevre, spinach, arugula, microgreens topped with parmesan cheese, garlic and aioli

Cranberry Fingers: Dijon flavored whole cranberry spread, topped with a slice of turkey

Apricot Ham Fingers: Cream cheese/apricot preserve spread topped with a thin slice of ham

Pineapple Cream spread served on a slice of Boston Brown Bread

Carrot-Ginger Wedge:  Carrot/ginger spread on bread topped with Alfalfa sprouts

Cucumber-Mint Open face sandwich

Lavender Egg Salad: Combination of egg, yogurt, curry, mayo and lavender on bread topped with a slice of olive

Radish sandwich: Thinly sliced radish served on fresh Zucchini-Basil Muffin

Smoked Salmon on Pumpernickel with dill and lemon aioli

Classic Tuna, Egg, Chicken or Ham salad fillings served on a variety of breads.
